The shower depth of a shower maximum is calculated for a given density, critical energy, and particle radiation length in ice.

Energy (GeV) of the shower.

Density (g/cm^3) of ice.
- crit_energyfloat, optional
Critical energy (GeV) for shower formation.
- rad_lengthfloat, optional
Radiation length (g/cm^2) in ice of the particle which makes up the shower.
