NeutrinoInteraction.choose_interaction()

Choose an interaction type for the particle attribute.

Randomly generates the interaction type (charged-current or neutral-current) according to the cross-section ratio.

Returns

Interaction.Type

Enum value for the interaction type for the particle.

Notes

The interaction type choice is based on the ratio equation in the CTW 2011 paper [1] (Equation 8).
